The Romance of the Coastal Track
David Jack and Liz Thomas report that 3 European Weddings in 2022 resulted from the lure of the Coastal Track.
They write:
We were delighted to attend 3 weddings in Europe this last summer.
Each wedding was the outcome of the groom’s proposal while walking the Coastal trail in 2020.
There has been a lapse of 2 years because of Covid but we were delighted to be present when son Michael Jack (Taranga Road) married Lucy in Bled. Then Andy McDonald (Cove Road) married Mairhead in Clonakilty, Cork and Katherine Due (Wairahi Road) married Vincent in Balycotton, Cork.
With the addition of Michael and Lucy’s subsequent Civil service and the Queen’s passing, it really was 4 Weddings and a Funeral.
