We need your help!
The Wairahi Tracks Charitable Trust (WTCT) has agreed to a significant contribution to the establishment of walking and cycling tracks between Marsden Cove and Mangawhai.
The image below provides you with information on the project, the WTCT initial commitment, and also invites you to get involved and participate in the project.
The track from Langs Beach to Bream Tail Rd is a vital link in the proposed Bream Bay Trail that will eventually run from One-Tree Point to Mangawhai Heads
To find out more about the project , you can email us on info@wairahitracks.nz,
or call John Tapper on 021 666 044
We recently held an open day at the Te Waorahi conservation state to introduce the community to the walking and cycling opportunities provided at Te Waorahi, a facility that will be available from Langs Beach via the track currently under development.
We are confident that with your support we will be able to raise the funds needed to complete the project by the end of 2024. We have in excess of $73k in the bank and promises so far, of an equal amount.
Should you wish to talk further with us about the project then we invite you to contact John Tapper (his mobile number is on the image above), and/or take the opportunity to attend an Open Day at Te Waorahi on the Saturday of Labour Weekend from 9-11am.
The entrance to Te Waorahi is on Cove Road, opposite to Bream Tail Road. We will have people there to direct you on where to park, and to introduce you to the walking and cycling opportunities provided at Te Waorahi. At approximately 10am we will provide further information for those that wish to take part in a group discussion.
Please support us, preferably by making a donation directly into our bank account.
